~ Kids, do not try this at home. ~

I just purchased the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box. I remember having this one back in 2011-ish. I have sooo much nostalgia over this eyeshadow palette!!

I lost mine several years ago in one of my moves. So when I saw one unopened on eBay, I just had to have it!!

It was manufactured… a while back 😁

It came in its original box with the travel-sized eyeshadow primer potion, but that thing was naaaasty! 😅 I did not use the primer. But I sort of expected that.

From some Googling around, I found out that makeup powders have a much longer shelf life than liquids.

So, I wore the eyeshadow.

Even though it’s 10 years old.

I was hoping my eyeballs wouldn’t fall off.

I was a little shy with the colors, so my look came out looking pretty subtle.

I think next time I will layer on the colors more, make them more bold and visible, especially since my makeup tends to “disappear” behind my eyeglasses.

When I was putting on makeup with the mirror, I thought the colors were coming out bold, the eyeliner wing too long.

But now that I see it in photos, it doesn’t look like much at all!

So yeah, it was SO COOL opening up that eBay box and seeing my favorite old eyeshadow palette once again. I love how the silver stuff on the front makes this chook-chook sound when you shake it 😄

I also love the rose and hummingbird details.

Oh, and that was a few days ago, and my eyeballs didn’t fall off! 😅
