All Healthy Again, Yay!

Has it been a while? It feels like it has been a while since I decided to blog, then got my email deleted, then got a cold 🤧

My family got a cold one by one: first me, then my 2 year old, then my husband. But we’re all better now, and it feels soooo good to be able to breathe without a stuffy nose 🥰 Being sick makes me appreciate the healthy times so much more.

I had two really cool fashion blog posts planned, but couldn’t do them ~ and now I’m looking forward to tackling them this week! One’s about when people take photos of you in public, and the other is gothic kawaii fashion outfits!! 🖤

I saw a commercial for Taylor Swift’s poet thing, and I immediately thought, “Oh! How cool!! It’s like when Jewel published her poetry book in the late 90s!!”

I thought Taylor Swift had published a poetry book, but maybe it’s just an album? I’m not in-the-know, but maybe someone younger than me can tell me LoL

Anyway, I just thought of how cool it would be if poetry made a comeback like it did in the late 90s. I love poetry. I used to be super into slam poetry, too ~ even though looking back, it was a bit cringey 😅 I could not get enough of Sarah Kay!

I even memorized and recited some of her poetry over a decade ago (has it been that long?) and here is one, but beware of the cringe! 😁

Okay, my kid is awake so I have to go! This is a bit of an unfinished post, but if I don’t hit that “publish” button now, I feel like I never will! 😅

  1. Oh!!!! My!!!! Gosh!!!! Your poem is AMAZING! The words and the delivery was spectacular – I literally watched with my mouth hanging open in shock! Also, really cool to hear your voice!
